What is Human Trafficking?

Soroptimist Intl. of Marin County is dedicated to educating the public about the realities of human trafficking. We do this by participating in local, national, and international events, and particularly by showings of our film “What is Human Trafficking?” based on our 2014 educational forum. The film has been widely shown, including to the Soroptimist Founder Region Conference, the Bay Area Association of Grand Jurors and the California Association of Grand Jurors, local police agencies in Prague, and at the United Nations in New York.

Helping Women and Girls Live Their Dreams

This inspirational video showcases the Soroptimist mission, as well as federation and club projects that improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

Soroptimist's Women's Opportunity Awards

Soroptimist created this public service announcement (PSA) to assist local clubs in their efforts to solicit applicants for the program. The video tells the story of a past recipient and how the Women’s Opportunity Awards helped to turn her life around. The PSA earned an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards.
