SIMC has supported the Marin County Coalition to End Human Trafficking since its beginning, and encourages you to attend this special screening of "I am Jane Doe."
Friday March 2, 2018 - Doors open 6:15pm Marin Covenant Church Auditorium Join us to Support Education, Outreach, and Training in Marin County to End all Forms of Modern Day Slavery & Human Trafficking
We raised $6000 at the Style-a-Thon this year! This surpassed the goal we had set for this year, and it is all due to the hard work and dedication of Kathy Lindley and the stylists at Bellissima Salon, and all of the effort by Soroptimist members before and on the day of the event. Many thanks also to the generous donors who took advantage of the opportunity to get pampered while supporting a very worthwhile cause. SIMC members Kathy Lindley and Daria Sievers presented the Style-a-Thon proceeds to Marin Cancer Institute representatives Brian French, Joann Rossi, Alison Gause and members of the Marin Oncology staff on Thursday, December 7. There were smiles and hugs all around!
Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women be their best. At our 2018 Fundraiser and Awards Program, Soroptimist International of Marin County will honor three outstanding women with the Soroptimist Ruby Award in recognition of the difference they make in Marin every day. The 2018 Ruby Award recipients are:
Veda Florez, Latino Marin
Felecia Gaston, Performing Stars
Kim Mazzuca, 10,000 Degrees
Please join us for a festive evening in recognition of these women.
